About the Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be supporting both customers and internal staff with day-to-day queries and operational support. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Organising and rebooking deliveries with customers and the logistics team.
* Cancelling deliveries and updating systems accordingly.
* Handling inbound and outbound calls from customers, stores, and drivers.
* Dealing with customer complaints, product queries, and delivery issues promptly and professionally.
* Assisting delivery drivers by providing step-by-step instructions on how to dismantle or manoeuvre furniture into homes, using the information available on the internal system.
* Updating and maintaining accurate records using internal systems and spreadsheets.
Ideal candidates will:
* Be IT literate and comfortable using systems and Excel-based spreadsheets.
* Excellent spoken and written English, with clear communication skills.
* Be confident resolving issues, thinking on their feet, and supporting both customers and drivers.
* Be flexible to work weekends on a rota basis.
* Have access to their own transport (public transport is not available for this location).
