About the team
As the Senior Asset Manager you will be managing the team responsible for Asset Management for the Bank. This team is dedicated to managing portfolios of short term lending, properties in possession and properties in the hands of LPA Receivers whilst keeping the interests of the customer at the heart of what we do.
The role will provide a challenging and varied workload with the opportunity to broaden and forge a strong career in property asset management.

What you will be doing
Your responsibilities will include…
1. Managing a team of Asset Management Associates at our Wolverhampton office.
2. Manage the asset workout strategies effectively to ensure optimum recovery and minimising losses, working closely with Asset Management firms, Solicitors and LPA Receivers through implementation of optimal collection and work out strategies.
3. Overseeing the end to end functionality of the collections and recoveries mortgage service systems.
4. Understanding and maintaining market sentiment in jurisdictions where assets reside.
5. Working closely with other functional areas (including the Group’s Financial Support Teams) on potential new possession/LPA cases to ensure risks are fully considered and understood.
6. Advise the Group Head of Asset Management and Specialist Financial Support of key operational issues, making recommendations for improvement on properties in possession and in LPA Receivership to ensure the best outcome for the borrower and the bank.
In return for your commitment
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £37000 - £42000 and a competitive benefits package including:

15. An understanding or previous experience of minimising loses in mortgage assets
16. A solid career within the financial services industry or asset real estate management
17. Experience of analysing and presenting detailed data points and outcome focussed work-out strategies
18. Detailed knowledge of the legal structure affecting property and recovery is essential
