Have you worked as a support worker or in the care field? Perhaps you have an education related degree? This role will be full time (Mon-Fri) from 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only. However, part time hours will also be considered for the right candidate. The job: As a Learning mentor, you will be required to work with Primary -Secondary aged pupils. These students have a variety of social, emotional and mental health needs. You will be responsible for assisting children to help regulate their emotions and teach appropriate interactions. The Ideal Candidate: Needs to be strong at managing behaviour and good at building relationships with vulnerable/disengaged students. Have a desire to help and nurture children. Confident to build positive relationships with both staff and children. Have experience with SEND children or young adults with SEMH needs.
