SHEQ Advisor - Warrington/ North West Daniel Owen is looking for a SHEQ Advisor to join a leading provider of social housing maintenance, refurbishment, and regeneration services across the UK. They work with local authorities, housing associations, and private sector clients to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that improve communities and enhance lives. Location: Warrington / North West Position: SHEQ Advisor Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Package Contract Type: Permanent Availability: This role is immediately available The Role: We are seeking a proactive SHEQ Advisor to join a growing team and support the implementation of their Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies. In this role, you will ensure compliance with regulations, promote best practices, and drive a positive safety culture across our projects. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and guidance on SHEQ matters to project teams and stakeholders. Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legal and company standards. Support the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, procedures, and initiatives. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions. Deliver SHEQ training and awareness programs to employees and contractors. Work collaboratively with management to promote continuous improvement in SHEQ performance. Ensure alignment with ISO management systems and industry best practices.To be successful in this role, you will have: A relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH). Experience in a SHEQ role within the property services, construction, or housing sectors. Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organisation. A proactive and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
