Red Kite View has 22 beds (16 in Skylark Ward GAU and 6 in Lapwing Ward PICU), and is staffed by a dedicated multi-disciplinary team including nurses, psychiatrists, teachers, clinical psychologists, and a wide range of allied health professionals and non-clinical support staff. This job advert is for the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Lapwing Ward. The service team works closely with the young persons CYPMHS Community team during their stay at Red Kite View. Most young people will come to Lapwing Ward PICU Red Kite View under the Mental Health Act (1983) or subject to other court orders. Whatever the situation of the young person they will be offered assessment, treatment and support in one of our two wards. Both wards offer light, modern facilities including spacious, comfortable and private en-suite bedrooms.
