Corfe Hills School is looking for an Assistant Headteacher to lead our fantastic {Team:} team.
Actual Salary £68,586 to £75,674. L14 to L18
This job is Full Time.
It is offered on a Permanent basis.
Approximate start date September 2025.
We are looking to recruit an exceptional candidate to join the leadership team at Corfe Hills School and play their part in contributing to the next stage of our ambitious development journey. We maintain strong partnerships in the local community, and this has been strengthened through joining Initio Learning Trust in October 2024. We are looking for someone who can:
* In partnership with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Local School Committee members establish and implement an ambitious vision and ethos for the future of the school.
* Play a leading role in the school improvement and school self-evaluation planning process.
* Be an excellent role model, exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectations for all members of the school community.
* Work with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to raise standards through staff performance management and the development and delivery of training and support for staff.
* Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for students, rooted in mutual respect. Support the development and implementation of the school behaviour strategy.
* Lead on the specific areas of responsibility as directed headteacher and outlined in the leadership team roles and responsibilities chart.
We would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of:
* Successful leadership and management experience in a school.
* Teaching experience in an 11 to 18 or 13 to 18 setting.
* Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning.
* Line management experience.
* Experience of contributing to staff development.
A clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for travel across the Trust’s multiple sites and schools.
