About the role:
Please note this is a part-time role of 2 days per week, September 2025 start.
As Music and Drama teacher at Hawley Woods School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.
About you:
For this role, we are looking for someone who holds QTS or QTLS along with experience of working with children with SEND, SEMH and ASC; however, we welcome applicants with a variety of experience including mainstream settings.
With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective classroom teaching, which engages and motivates young people, you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. We support children and young people with an autism spectrum condition and social emotional and mental health needs.
