It is also charged with promoting effective internal communication in a large and dispersed institutional structure. PAD comprises approximately 40 people, based in six teams:• Corporate Communications• Research & Information Communications• Internal Communications• Brand & Design• Campaigns and Digital Communications• EventsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration and Communications Officer in the Brand & Design Team who produce creative content, administer the visual identity and manage the University’s Image Library. About the Role We are looking for someone to produce communications assets and manage administration for the Brand & Design team and the Campaigns & Digital Communications team, in collaboration with other colleagues in the Public Affairs Directorate and other stakeholders across the collegiate University. The role will support and contribute towards communication channels managed by Brand and Design including the University Image Bank, print publications and digital projects. This will include producing content for the Image Bank, including taking photographs and ensuring relevance of content. The successful applicant will be able deal with a variety of communications requirements, demonstrating proactive creative problem-solving skills. About You We are looking for someone who can:• Contribute to the development of the University Image Library. Take photographs. Manage data input into Digital Asset Management software. Arrange and co-ordinating photography with external photographers and internal staff.• Use office software, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Use, or be trained to use, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat.• Coordinating the supply of brand assets to stakeholders across the University.• Attend meetings to represent Brand & Design.• Provide administrative support for Brand & Design and the Campaigns & Digital Communications team. • Keep up to date with relevant external regulations and requirements, including GDPR.• Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with department colleagues and stakeholders to promote the positive reputation of the department.
