Hours: Working hours are 8 hours per day, shift patterns and flexibility will be discussed during the interview. The provision of the contract is between 08:00 and 22:00.

Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime.
Nacro delivers the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS), a national service across England and Wales. The service enables Courts to make greater use of bail by providing community-based accommodation with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also supports adults released from custody within the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.
The team provides flexible and holistic support to residents with diverse needs. Our goal is to help residents find and maintain stable housing at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of residents and properties in your designated area.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Support clients to comply with HDC/Bail conditions.
2. Develop realistic and achievable support plans, including accessing housing and accommodation services to facilitate move-on to longer-term housing.
3. Ensure all support plans and risk assessments are tailored, inclusive, and person-centered.
4. Provide weekly support to residents to engage with their plans and work towards their goals.
5. Assist residents in accessing Housing Benefit to prevent rent arrears and tenancy issues.
6. Manage properties to ensure they meet Decent Homes Standards, including reporting repairs and replacing furniture/equipment as needed.
7. Perform basic cleaning tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver effective, person-centered support and safety plans.
2. Conduct weekly support sessions (up to 2 hours) to help residents achieve their objectives.
3. Maintain up-to-date individual resident records.
4. Support residents with Housing Benefit applications.
5. Make referrals to specialist support agencies as needed.
6. Coordinate with partner agencies such as Probation, Prison Services, Courts, and Police.
7. Ensure properties are well-equipped, maintained, furnished, and clean.
8. Empower and motivate residents to achieve their desired outcomes.
9. Develop move-on plans early, exploring realistic future housing options.
What We Expect From You

2. Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
3. Experience working with vulnerable adults with complex needs (e.g., substance misuse, physical/mental health issues, employment, housing).
4. Flexibility to travel within your area for training and meetings, and to cover other local areas as required.
5. Familiarity with computer-based systems.
