We are seeking Portfolio Management Officers to join our Business Improvement team. We have one permanent position and one 12-month fixed-term contract available.
The Role
As a Portfolio Management Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising the performance of our portfolio of projects and programmes. You will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the SRA Futures project lifecycle, monitoring performance metrics, compliance and quality assurance, and providing strategic insights to enhance decision-making.
You will perform a range of duties that govern our change portfolio, including the analysis of portfolio performance, preparing detailed reports, dashboards, and recommendations for senior management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure key resources are prioritised and allocated effectively. Using your ability to identify risks and opportunities within the portfolio, you will provide insights and recommendations to improve overall portfolio efficiency and effectiveness. Your skills and experience will be key to monitoring delivery compliance with internal policies, while supporting the continual development of our portfolio management frameworks, tools, and processes.

What we are looking for:
* Experience of working in a Prince2 environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience and understanding of maintaining RAID logs.
* Ability to support others in their adherence to project processes and methodology.
