Senior Care Assistant- Days
7am-7pm 3 shifts per week (including alternate weekends)
Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire
£14.37pn plus incentives (from 1st Jan 2025)
Would you like to work in a friendly nursing and care home in Edwinstowe? My client is looking for an experienced Senior Carer to join their dedicated and highly professional team. The home has high class facilities and beautiful landscaped gardens. With 49 beds, they take exceptional pride in working as a team to provide care that honours and values their residents.
In this role you will:
• Provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living
• Be responsible for promoting resident’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect
• Be responsible for leading your shift to ensure high standards are maintained, and other members of the team feel supported
• Complete the daily medication rounds
• Ensure daily charts are completed to a high standard by all team members
• Promote good practice in all aspects of care
For this post you must have:
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience in a residential / nursing home setting at a supervisory level
• Experience of administering medication and updating care plans
• Excellent people skills and a caring and nurturing attitude
• The ability to work alternate weekends
• Live within 30 minutes of the Home
