To support our continued growth we are looking for a Site Manager - Fire Protection to join our team. Key Roles and Responsibilities As the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the day to day running of projects including sub-contractors on site Review client instructions and schedules with a full understanding of what the project entails/requires Read and interpret construction drawings and designs Undertake site inspections to ensure high standards of work and H&S are maintained Management of labour and materials on site to ensure project deadlines can be met Adhering to Health & Safety rules and quality control Identify project variations and communicate back to the contracts manager To develop excellent relationships with clients and colleagues Ensure all client enquiries/issues are dealt with in a timely manner Facilitating team meetings to include performance/operational delivery/H&S information, Company updates and relevant training and guidance Carry out inspections of completed works and evidence, sign off using app based systems (eg Bolster) Person Specification: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes: Previous experience in supervising and managing fire protection projects. Experienced in working in occupied environments. Valid FIRAS Accreditations Valid SMSTS certificate. Ability to interpret drawings and specifications Work towards tight deadlines and programming skills and reporting processes. Ability to oversee and manage all Health and Safety procedures and processes. Competent in Microsoft packages – Word, Excel and Outlook Knowledge and understanding of site procedures and practices Ability to effectively manage and communicate with a team and the Client Good commercial awareness, ability to identify variations to contracts Extensive knowledge of passive fire doors/fire stopping An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check will be carried out.
