Hours: 35 hours per week
Who are Burmantofts Community Friends? We are a local, ground-level charity helping to improve the lives of older age people living in and around the LS9 area of East Leeds. We do this by offering practical support with activities, information, advocacy, outreach, and wellbeing services. Please see our website: https://www.burmantofts.org.uk/
Main Purpose of The Role: Working under the direction of the CEO, this role plays an important part of our strategy to support local older people to live independent and happy lives. The successful applicant will manage and coordinate the important operational functions of the organisation. This includes marketing, finance, facilities, HR, training and development, and more.
Duties:
1. Managing the office space, contracts, and services.
2. Arranging appropriate training for staff and volunteers.
3. Coordinating the marketing functions of BCF, including printed newsletters, social media, website, printed flyers, etc.
4. Finance and staff management.
5. Providing ad hoc support to the CEO and Trustees as necessary.
Management Trustees expect BCF team members to actively promote the aims of the BCF at all opportunities and represent the organisation as a positive force for change in the local community.
