Job summary The main aim is to welcome and integrate newly registered professionals into their new team and place of work. It is a structured start, and all nurses, nursing associates and Allied Health Professionals should be offered this during their first year of practice. This role will help new professionals translate their knowledge into everyday practice, grow in confidence and understand how to apply their professional codes to their day-to-day work. This post will oversee and lead the structure and process to enable a positive preceptorship experience, which has shown to increase confidence, sense of belonging, recruitment, and retention of early career professionals. This role will align itself to a number of external principles and standards set by the NMC, the HCPC and NHS England. This role will be supported by the Postgraduate Education Manager.
