Technical Project Analyst

We are seeking a Technical Project Analyst to join our team in Chatteris.
In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support to the analytical chemistry teams, while implementing method development and improvement, working closely with the Technical Project Manager. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting methods and instruments, so a technical background is required. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and an in-depth knowledge of analytical techniques.

About the Position
* Shift: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Location: Chatteris
* Contract: Full Time, Permanent
* Closing date: 28th March 2025
The day to day
* Ensure that analytical methods in routine use are performing effectively, efficiently and safely
* Work with the Technical Project Manager to identify areas for improvement, provide ideas and solutions
* Perform verification and validation of analytical methods and equipment
* Protocol and report writing
* Troubleshoot and problem-solve
* Evaluate data
* Work with the Quality Team on PT scheme performance
* Assist in audits and method reviews
* Assist with quality investigations
The Essentials
* Minimum of degree or equivalent in chemistry or related field
* Strong technical skills and significant laboratory experience, preferably within food chemistry, including method development and validation
* Comprehensive understanding of Quality Management Systems, ideally ISO:17025
* Flexible approach and the desire to achieve continuous improvement
* Evaluate critically and draw conclusions from scientific and other data
* Proficient user of Microsoft Office programmes
* Good organisational skills
