* A1: SCQF Level 10 (Honours degree) in a relevant subject or a cognate discipline, or equivalent.
* A2: Specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of project-specific areas.
* A3: Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of cancer and/or cancer immunology research.
* E1: Minimum of 3 years practical experience in a relevant research laboratory setting.
* E2: Proven ability to deliver quality outputs in a timely manner.
* E3: Track record of presentation and publication of research results.
* B1: An awarded (or recently submitted or near completion) PhD in subject specialism or equivalent.
* A4: Normally Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 (PhD) or equivalent.
* C11: Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of current issues in the wider subject area.
* C12: Knowledge of project-specific technical models, equipment, or techniques.
* E9: A track record of presentation and publication of research results in quality journals/conferences.
Job Description:
* Plan and conduct research in line with project deliverables and the research strategy.
* Document research output, maintain records, draft technical reports, and papers.
* Develop and enhance research profile and reputation.
* Contribute to international publications and conferences.
* Assist in securing funding for future research.
* Collaborate with colleagues, participate in team activities, and supervise students.
* Perform administrative tasks related to the research group and School.
* Contribute to teaching activities and associated admin as assigned.
