Position: MEP Project Lead Location: Cambridge An excellent job opportunity for a MEP Project Lead to work for a leading international tier one main contractor. This position is to work on a signature state of the art pharmaceutical facility based in Cambridge. What will you be doing: Managing and coordinating the installation of mechanical & Electrical packages. Working with consultants and subcontractors. Managing safety and quality aspects of the project in accordance with company procedures. Preparing the project programme, including the delivery strategy and ensure project milestones are achieved. Ensuring smooth and timely flow of information between all parties to the contract. Identifying and predicting potential delays and action remedies. Keeping the project stakeholders informed of progress and any other relevant issues. Reviewing project scope and managing the budget and schedule. Performing cost analysis as and when required. Participating in design reviews. Managing safety and quality aspects of the project in accordance with company procedures. Reviewing issues to drive continuous improvement. Let’s talk about you…. You will have a background in project management or Engineering, either a Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or a building services degree. You are digitally astute and can build lasting client relationships. Detailed knowledge of MEP packages including installation techniques, best practice, and single system commissioning requirements. You will ideally have healthcare or pharmaceutical project experience, although having experience working on commerical build or major projects working for a main contractor would also be suitable.
