About the Role
The Director of Finance and Administration is a senior professional leader who combines superb attention to operational detail with a strategic mindset and a strong motivation to work collaboratively. You will lead the development and delivery of the School’s overall financial and operational strategy, providing strategic leadership of financial planning activities and leading on commercial negotiations for major research programmes.
The Director will ensure robust financial projections and oversee the development and implementation of a new performance and business improvement function, driving forward innovation and continuous improvement projects.
About You
The post will suit a highly motivated individual with substantial experience in a finance and administrative leadership role, ideally in a fast-moving environment. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate complex financial and operational issues effectively.
An ability to create a team culture focused on meeting priorities and deadlines while maintaining high levels of customer service is vital.

Salary (£): Grade 10: £64,228 - £74,191 (with a discretionary range to £80,913) A market supplement may be available for suitably qualified candidates.
