THE DETAILS:
Job role: Warehouse Shift Manager
Salary: £33,000-£36,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 09:30am – 19:30pm & Friday 08:00am - 16:45pm
Location: Unit C, Larkfield Industrial Estate, New Hythe Lane, Aylesford ME20 6SW
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Ensure the site is managed safely, efficiently and is compliant with all legal requirements (Aligned to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Pledge)
Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
Provide ‘hand over report’ to oncoming Operations Manager
Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
Define and agree goals (KPI’s), timelines and performance with your team
Review team performance against agreed goals (KPI’s) through regular 1:1’s, identifying training needs and required support
Liaise with New Business Partners to develop and integrate new business opportunities
WHAT YOU NEED
Experience of delivering expanding operational KPI’s.
A practical approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
A Common-sense approach to problem-solving
Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
Prioritise and managing tasks in a pressurised environment
