About the Role:
As a Junior CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the production of highway designs, including calculations, drawings, and specifications to relevant local and national standards. You will be responsible for preparing designs and drawings, liaising with utility providers, and gaining technical approvals from the Local Highway Authority. The Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Proven experience in highway design within a consultancy environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Customer Focus: Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and identify issues to support the team and improve processes.

Design and Implementation: Assist with the design and implementation of highway solutions for clients in the private and public sectors.

Task Management: Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to budget and programme.
Documentation: Prepare reports, drawings, schedules, cost estimates, and other documents.
Support: Assist senior members with monthly programme and financial reporting.
