Position: Girls' PE Teacher
Location: Eccles, Salford, Greater Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, temporary with potential for extension
Rate of Pay: £150 to £220+ dependant on experience
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Girls' PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Salford. This role is ideal for a passionate and dynamic individual who can inspire students and promote a healthy and active lifestyle through engaging and inclusive PE lessons.
The Role:
As a Girls' PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' skills, teamwork, and confidence. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to extracurricular activities, including sports clubs and competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering a high standard of PE lessons tailored to meet the needs of all students
Encouraging participation and promoting physical fitness and well-being
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback
Organising and supporting extracurricular sports activities
Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching PE at secondary school level
A passion for physical education and the ability to motivate students
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
