News on iPlayer
News on iPlayer is a pioneering multidisciplinary team, charged with delivering, creating and curating the best of BBC News on iPlayer. As a Journalism Co-ordinator, you'll play a key role in helping to deliver the best of BBC News on iPlayer. At the heart of the operation you'll co-ordinate filming, logistics and be a key point of call for colleagues to ensure consistently excellent delivery of programming.
Main Responsibilities
* Organising, co-ordinating and managing multiple ongoing projects.
* Producing call-sheets and risk assessments, booking crews and problem-solving.
* Coordinating output for increased activity on iPlayer.
* Working with colleagues across the BBC on key news coverage.
* Experimenting, piloting and continually improving processes.
* Working some evenings and weekends to help deliver news coverage on iPlayer.
Are you the right person?
* Demonstrable experience of co-ordinating multiple simultaneous projects.
* An understanding of digital production processes.
* A willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment.
* Knowledge of production requirements, including booking and scheduling.
* Appreciation of comprehensive record keeping and metadata in production.
