Data Analyst

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Master Data Analyst on behalf of our client, a dynamic and growing business seeking a skilled professional to manage and optimise their master data processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven individual with a strong background in ERP systems and SQL, ideally with Infor M3 experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Document data structures and field setup rules related to master data.
* Develop and manage exception reporting and control routines to ensure data accuracy across business system platforms.
* Maintain master data integrity KPIs and follow up with responsible stakeholders.
* Work closely with local businesses and ERP support teams, conducting detailed data analysis to align master data with project rollouts (some travel required).
* Perform in-depth analysis of large data volumes from multiple sources, ensuring accurate data segregation, sorting, and cleansing.
* Present analytical findings and process summaries to technical and managerial teams.
* Document and maintain data structures and SOP processes.
* Develop and enhance data analysis and reporting tools.
* Ensure data governance, exception reporting, and issue resolution processes are upheld.
* Maintain master data in accordance with company rules and workflows.
* Support service desk issues and mass data loads.
* Develop and track Master Data Management (MDM) KPIs.
* Produce ad hoc reports and provide data insights to business stakeholders.
* Attend master data meetings with process owners and business entities to ensure smooth operations.
* Support internal transfer pricing processes in collaboration with business teams.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and process development.
* Adapt to evolving business needs and undertake additional tasks as required.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Access/SQL.
* Hands-on experience with ERP system data management and cross-functional business interaction.
* Expertise in integrating information/tables from complex business systems.
* Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and stay organised.
* Strong understanding of complex business process flows and data structures.
Preferred Qualifications & Personal Qualities:
* Degree in Engineering, IT, or Business (or equivalent experience of 3+ years in a data management role).
* Proactive mindset with a keen eye for continuous process improvement.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
