A smashing opportunity has arisen for a driven and tenacious Contracts Manager to join a leading building envelope contractor here in the south with a solid reputation for quality and efficiency.
Role:
To ensure contracts are run in line with the overall sales strategy. The role requires a strong leader who can clearly communicate a vision, provide direction and motivate others to work collaboratively across the business and with clients to ensure our scope of works is completed to a high standard within a project managed way.
Role Key Accountabilities/Attributes:
1. Managing existing and new client relationships.
2. Responsible for the smooth management of the entire end-to-end process including completion of selection and invitation to sub-contractors.
3. Organise installations meetings and attend operations meetings to ensure the contracts are run smoothly.
4. Studying the requirements, duties and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and industry regulations.
5. Coordinate and project manage all parties involved in the process to ensure everyone is aware of the level of contribution expected of them and the set deadlines.
6. Draft written responses drawing on operational input, previous submissions, specifications and policy research.
7. Liaising with a wide variety of internal resources in order to collate relevant information to ensure a high quality.
8. Write bespoke content for submissions.
9. Ensure all commercial documentation is clear, concise, crucial, compelling and meets all the scope criteria in contract specifications.
10. Ensure the contract documentation is properly formatted, collated and presented in a professional and timely manner in line to support the QS team.
11. Proofread written documentation prior to submission as required.
12. Prepare program submissions for review and approval, ensuring that the submission is fully reviewed ahead by relevant Directors and/or managers ahead of the deadline.
13. Ensure all contractual documents or examples of delays are stored and recorded in a clear and detailed manner for further use and review by the QS team.
14. Participate in meetings as required.
15. Manage the installation teams and provide support to the operations and commercial managers as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
* You will need to have at least 3-5 years working knowledge leading a team within the fenestration sector including glazing, facades and cladding.
* Strong leadership & management ability.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.

* Decisive & proactive.
