Pertemps are delighted to be working on behalf of a well-known organisation who are currently looking to add to their growing finance team with the appointment of a Management Accountant. Working within the Finance Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Business Partner across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc requests.
Salary up to £46k DOE

Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary
2. Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
3. Be a subject matter expert on the respective BU results
4. Prepare, review and challenge budgets, business plans and forecasts
5. Maintain financial control processes
6. Proactively suggest and implement process improvements
7. Liaise with BU stakeholders on a regular basis in order to help them understand financial results
8. Liaising with auditors both internally and externally
9. Providing balance sheet and P & L Analysis
10. Other ad hoc finance tasks
11. Be involved in projects as required
Candidate Requirements:
1. Degree in Finance or business-related subject or an equivalent qualification.
2. 3 years Management Accounts experience
3. Professional Accountancy Qualification ACCA/CIMA/CA/ACA or finalist with 2 exams left
4. Strong experience in preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, audit involvement.
5. Experience in dealing with challenging stakeholders and communicating with non-finance stakeholders at various levels.
6. Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment
7. Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation.
