We are seeking an Interim HR Technology and People Systems Manger to oversee the People/HR IT department, focusing on business-as-usual (BAU) operations and team management. About the Role In this operational role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing HR technology systems, ensuring they align with our business strategies and technical architecture. You will lead a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver efficient enterprise services that support our HR functions. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of HR IT professionals, promoting professional development and ensuring high performance. System Maintenance and Optimisation: Oversee the day-to-day operations of HR technology systems, ensuring their efficiency and alignment with business needs. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation within the People/HR IT department. IT Governance: Ensure compliance with IT governance standards and manage financial aspects, including showback and chargeback models. Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with SaaS providers and other key suppliers to ensure service quality and alignment with organisational goals. Data Analysis: Utilise data analysis skills to leverage AI/ML technologies, addressing data challenges and enhancing the employee experience. Resource Management: Effectively manage nearshore and offshore resources, as well as third-party suppliers, to achieve desired business outcomes. Key Experience: Experience: Highly experienced in leading a People/HR IT department within a large or complex organisation. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in team management, strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of HR technology systems, with hands-on experience in platforms such as Workday. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and experience applying AI/ML solutions to address large data challenges. Industry Knowledge: Awareness of current technology trends and how HR business functions operate. Vendor and Resource Management: Experience in managing nearshore/offshore resources and third-party suppliers, focusing on business outcomes and employee experience.
