YOUR ROLE
The Tax Manager will report to the Head of Tax for the UK and Ireland and will be responsible for assisting with the corporation tax compliance, VAT return preparation, tax reporting, and tax advisory services within the organisation for UK and Ireland.
This role requires a deep understanding of local tax regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and optimises its tax positions. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping our tax strategy and contributing to the continued success of CEVA Logistics.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
The Tax Manager will be an integral part of the finance team, offering expert tax advice and ensuring the company’s operations are tax-efficient and compliant with evolving regulations.
* Playing a key role in the collation, analysis and tax categorisation of accounting information for the purpose of inclusion within the corporation tax computations.
* Oversee the preparation and submission of the group’s VAT returns in compliance with relevant tax laws and deadlines. Improving and streamlining the VAT return process. Completion of quarterly VAT reconciliations.
* Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to manage tax filings and audits.
* Assist in advising the business of the tax implications of business decisions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and investments and recommending alternative tax efficient structures.
* Take a lead role in ensuring the group is compliant in respect of the transfer pricing, CFC, Corporate Criminal Offence and Pillar 2 legislation.
* Assist in the provision of accurate and timely tax accounting and reporting, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
* Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on CEVA’s financial position.
* Prepare and review tax provisions for quarterly and annual financial statements.
* Identify potential tax risks and issues, offering advice and support in mitigating such risks.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The ideal candidate will have a professional tax certification like CTA, ACA, ACCA or ATT along with proven experience in corporate tax management.
This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws, excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly.
The ability to collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
