An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust for the post of Quality Management Facilitator in the Department of Radiology. This role is integral to the service, providing essential management of the Radiology department documents and supporting the requirements of assessments against the relevant Quality Standards.
In this role, you will be working directly with the Radiology Quality Manager and providing support to the Modality and Admin Team Leads with document management. You will also coordinate the management of Non-Medical Referrer documentation. A flair for accuracy, organisation, and multi-disciplinary working is essential, along with excellent IT skills and a flexible approach to work.
For you to excel in this position, you will be confident, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in working with others as a team and autonomously is essential. The ability to prioritise competing demands and a good attention to detail is essential. A proven track record in supporting improvements or quality management would be advantageous, and a passion to improve processes is essential.
In return, you can expect to work with a wide variety of clinical and non-clinical staff in a role that is challenging but rewarding. You can expect good support in the form of regular 1:1 meetings, appraisal, and exposure to senior management teams within the wider Hospital and Trust.
Main Duties of the Job
* To maintain a log of printed versions of the service's controlled documents in key locations as necessary, ensuring review and update as required.
* To be the lead contact and act as an expert resource for implementing the use of IQM within the Radiology Department, providing supervision, assistance, support, guidance, and training to new users and functionality within the system.
* Work with the senior team to ensure relevant modules on IQM are effectively rolled out and appropriately utilised for use within each modality.
* To ensure that staff within the department are aware of their responsibility and have appropriate access and training on IQM to support departmental procedural processes. Provide IQM training information to new members of staff.
* To work with other members of the Divisional Quality Management group in the sharing of information to support the development of IQM.

* Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths (E)
* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience and training - E
* Evidence of commitment to continuing personal development (E)
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages and ability to learn other systems (E)
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy (E)
