What You'll Do As a Technical Manager, you'll be at the heart of our team. Your role will include: Ensuring that the site meets all legislative and customer standards and that you deliver the group, customer and category strategy Be a key point of contact for customers, maintaining a great relationship with them and your internal stakeholders Develop and grow the onsite Technical team to enable colleagues to reach their potential and progress Implement KPI reporting and management reviews to drive continuous improvement Oversee the supplier approval system for raw materials and packaging, ensuring that all are risk assessed and approved prior to approving purchasing Supporting the Samworth Brothers gate process and delivery of critical path. Your work as a Technical Manager will help us bring joy to our customers with exceptional food. What You Will Need There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the Technical Manager role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position: Significant experience within a quality/technical role within the Food & Drink manufacturing sector Experience of working with major retailers and a clear understanding of audit standards Good level of confidence in using Microsoft Office tools and learning new systems Experience of managing a team and developing others Food Safety and HACCP qualifications are highly desirable but additional training can be provided What We Offer Our people are our greatest asset.
