Hours:
6:00am -2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm rotating weekly Mon-Fri
The Job Role:
– Understand and comply with all health and safety standards for both yourself and your colleagues.
– As an operator you will undertake machine setting/interventions and first line trouble shooting to ensure the machinery runs to its optimum,
– Ensure all issues are escalated correctly and efficiently and in a timely manner,
– Be able to follow standard operating procedures/written documentation,
– Perform start-up and shut down check procedures,
– Analyse, interpret and report live data for line performance evaluation,
– Good understanding of continuous improvement tools/technics and their use,
– Maintain, monitor and achieve operational targets to help deliver the daily production plan,
– Monitor and improve product quality and completing periodic line quality checks,
– Complete routine maintenance and product change overs of specific line equipment,
– Continuously identify and implement workplace improvements,
– Maintain and promote measures that support waste minimisation and sustainability in operations,
– Be punctual with good time keeping and attendance,
Requirements:
* Good manufacturing or engineering background,
* Good standard of manual dexterity,
* Machine operating experience,
* Good timekeeping and attendance,
* Ability to work to written instructions,
* Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions,
* Attention to detail,
* Flexible – Able to work extended hours or different shifts on occasions when required.
* Committed attitude to Continuous Improvement activities such as 5s etc
