Labour Hire are looking for an experienced ELECTRICAL PROCUREMENT ENGINEER for a well-established company in SHOTTON, DEESIDE.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 4-6 year project at Shotton Paper Mill.

About You:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of experience in this role
* Preferably with knowledge of UK Market
* CSCS card required
About the Role:
* Monday-Friday - 45 hours per week (potential for weekend work)
* 7am - 5:30pm
* Responsible for end-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier / contract management,
* Identify and put into effect the measures by analysing the necessary risks and opportunities for reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO),
* Analyse supplier and subcontractor offers and interpret the most appropriate purchasing goal,
* Carry out negotiations with suppliers, coordinate the local contracts with the Project Manager, to obtain approval for contracts from the Main Office Contracts and Procurement Departments
* Creating new material alternatives and checking the usability of these materials in the project with the Technical Office Department,
* Deliver on time the orders of materials needed by the construction site with making sure the material must be quality approved,
* Coordinate and execute logistics and imports process with Head Office Procurement Department
* Continually track the supply market, keeping abreast of developments, trends, risks, and opportunities, leading the continual engagement with existing and potential suppliers and ahead of external market factors.
* Check the warehouse activities (consumables, goods receipt, transfer)
* Prepare related procurement reports/presentation.
