The academy caters for secondary age children with SEMH needs, or who have been excluded from mainstream education.

Job Description:
Job Duties:
1. Provide instruction and support to secondary school students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
2. Develop and implement individualised education plans to meet the specific needs of students.
3. Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
5. Assist in the planning and delivery of educational activities and interventions.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in education or related field
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEMH needs and how they impact learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- HLTA qualification
- Safeguarding training certification
Working Conditions:
- Work in a secondary school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
