Experience UK’s diverse range of members are responsible for injecting next-generation magic into global visitor destinations, with portfolios including themed attractions, museums & galleries, family entertainment centres, retail venues, live events, and everything in between.
To raise the profile of the Experience Economy, Experience UK works in partnership with our principle stakeholder, the Department for International Trade to deliver a programme of support for our members, which includes: attending flagship tradeshows, our own events, trade missions, research papers and much more.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship & Media Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship packages across our portfolio, as well as media sales for both online and offline platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional to engage with key industry players and our membership drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Sell sponsorship, partnerships and advertising packages across Experience UK’s portfolio, including events, reports, newsletters, and digital platforms.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential sponsors, advertisers, and partners.
* Identify and engage new business opportunities through research, outreach, and networking.
* Work closely with internal teams to create compelling sponsorship proposals and advertising packages.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets by securing new sponsors/advertisers and maintaining existing relationships.
* Maintain accurate sales records, update CRM systems, and report on sales progress.
* The role involves travel to industry events, including overnight stays (approx. 10 days per year), with all business expenses covered. Events may take place in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
About You
* Experience: Proven track record in generating sponsorship, media, and advertising sales (B2B sales experience is essential).
* Sales-driven: A results-oriented mindset with a passion for hitting and exceeding targets.
* Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in the experience economy is an advantage but not essential.
* Organisation: Ability to work independently, managing multiple clients, deadlines, and projects efficiently.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems and digital platforms to manage sales pipelines.

* A competitive base salary of £25,000 plus an uncapped commission scheme with a realistic OTE of £9,600.
