Maintenance Engineer
Working in exclusive partnership with an international advanced pharmaceutical and medical device business that are expanding operations across all of their UK facilities, I am now supporting the hire of a brand new addition to the Engineering team as an equipment operator and engineer.
Working in a small team directly with the Engineering Manager, you will maintain and operate a high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing system in order to support the plan to manufacture advanced pharmaceutical products. Whilst full training will be provided, you will come from one of two backgrounds:
1. Direct experience operating cyclotrons within production (and a desire to be trained more within engineering responsibilities).
2. An engineering/maintenance background, with a desire to learn about further advanced equipment.
The role will be based on core day hours (but with select periods of being on call with an overtime payment available for extra hours worked). A strong training and development plan will be present from day one.
Key Experience:
* Experience within a maintenance engineering position within a manufacturing focused business would be helpful OR experience in radiopharmaceutical production with a desire to work in an engineering capacity.
* Any understanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
* Any experience of regulated settings is ideal – although the ability to work in the setting will be the most important factor.
* Comfortable working in small teams with a hands-on and flexible approach.
