Location Northern Ireland, Remote GB Your role in the team DevOps team works to improve underlying technologies at SquareTrade and to enable all application teams to work faster and build scalable systems. Your work will directly impact all the company as you work closely with the product teams to understand how business directly impacts our technology and scaling needs. You will be working closely with the Engineering and IT teams to build out infrastructure to deploy our next generation microservices infrastructure and help the Engineering team deliver their code to Production faster. Responsibilities Creating new and supporting existing Jenkins pipeline scripts Assisting to further the growth in containerization for the SquareTrade application portfolio Improve the automation of software release and deployment Providing support for any automation and release issues raised by delivery teams in Slack Setting up CI/CD ecosystem - Gradle, Artifactory/Nexus, Jenkins, Cloudbees, GitHub Enterprise, etc. Deploying applications on public/private/hybrid cloud infrastructure - i.e., GCP, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, etc. Working with containerization, infrastructure, and orchestration frameworks to incorporate setting up ephemeral and permanent environments as part of our CI/CD workflow using Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, OCP, etc. Creating/amending Jenkins scripts/jobs as part of a software development pipeline up to and including software deployment So, what are the essential criteria to apply?
