Overview of the Role:
As a Product Manager at Napier, you will own the roadmap and strategic direction for your product area, serving as both a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a key link between our customers and development teams. This role requires an experienced, client-facing professional with a strong background in agile product management and a deep understanding of Client Screening. You will work collaboratively across teams to identify customer needs, prioritise feature development, and deliver innovative solutions that drive business value. You will guide a dedicated development team while maintaining a strong external presence with clients, translating complex needs into actionable plans and ensuring alignment with Napier’s overall vision.

Key Accountabilities:
* Product Ownership: Define and manage the roadmap for your product area, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business priorities.
* Customer Engagement: Build strong client relationships to understand market trends, ensure product fit, and drive adoption.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality features.
* Delivery Management: Oversee the prioritisation of backlogs and sprint goals, enabling your team to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
* Communication: Present roadmaps, updates, and key metrics to stakeholders across Napier, ensuring transparency and alignment.
* Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise product documentation, including user stories, release notes, and user guides.
* Continuous Improvement: Establish metrics to evaluate product performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
* Previous experience as a Product Manager, ideally within a B2B technology or compliance environment.
* Deep domain expertise in Client Screening or Financial Crime Compliance, with a strong understanding of screening methodologies, regulatory drivers, and industry challenges.
* Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to gather and integrate feedback into actionable insights.
* Proficiency in agile methodologies, with experience leading development teams.
* Exceptional communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* A track record of developing and delivering impactful product roadmaps.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Familiarity with metrics and tools for tracking product success.
