We are recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector within our clients manufacturing site. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all steelwork manufacturing processes meet stringent quality standards and industry quality standards. This role with drive quality improvement and optimise efficiency and ensuring compliance with relevant manufacturing standards.

As the Quality Control Inspector, you will be:
• To conduct inspections and audits during the production process and on finished products.
• To document non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with steelwork manufacturing standards (e.g., BS EN 1090, BS EN 3834 & ISO 9001) and client specifications.
• To analyse quality metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and cost-saving opportunities
• To collaborate to drive continuous improvement and implement preventive measures.
• To maintain accurate records.
• To ensure all instruments are calibrated and recorded.
• To prepare and present regular quality performance reports and metrics to the SHEQ Manager.
• Keep abreast of updates in industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively promote a safe working environment by adhering to our Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental policies and policies
As the Quality Control Inspector, you will have:
• Great communication skills
• Proficient IT abilities
• Experience in a quality engineering manufacturing role
• Experience with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
• NDT Welding Inspection Qualification is an advantage
• Responsible Welding Coordinator Qualification is an advantage
• Responsible Coatings Professional / Painting Coordinator experience
