Job summary The Hadleigh Practice is a forward-thinking Practice with a Multidisciplinary Team of dedicated Clinicians, Managers and Administration staff, providing high quality GMS services. We are based over two sites with a total of 20,500 patients. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Lead Nurse to join our nursing team. Applicants must be RGN registered with at least three years post registration experience, have experience in primary care practice nursing and a recognised qualification in at least one Long Term Condition (Diabetes, Asthma/COPD). Previous experience in a lead nurse role is a distinct advantage, as is evidence of service and team development, but management experience in other roles would also be considered. The Lead Nurse will be responsible for leading the nursing team, which consists of 5 other practice nurses, 4 HCAs and a phlebotomist. The role will include the organisation of services and clinics, policies and protocols and the nurse rota, along with the management and development of the nurse team. The position involves close liaison with the Management Team and Managing Partner, as well as other Team Leaders within the practice.
