To support our Bodyshop, we are looking for a Vehicle MET Technician with at least 3 years’ experience to bring energy and passion to the team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of suspension, 4-wheel alignment and diagnostics.
This role will include, but is not limited to:
* Performing repairs to an extremely high standard in Mechanical/Electrical.
* Remove and replace/refit mechanical with an emphasis on suspension, steering and cooling systems using the correct equipment and methods.
* Perform routine diagnostic checks, tests, and assessments.
* Inspect finished jobs for imperfections ensuring a flawless fit and finish.
* Maintain a clean and organised workplace to ensure the quality and efficiency of the painting process.
* Ensuring that all equipment and tools are used in accordance with defined safety requirements and maintained to a high standard.
* Follow all safety protocols including PPE to prevent accidents.
* Follow company procedures, policies, practices, and managers' instructions.
* Supply a positive & enthusiastic approach to your working day at all times.
Skills and knowledge required:
* Proven experience as a MET tech in an automotive repair setting.
* In-depth knowledge of all areas of repairing vehicles.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised with a keen eye for detail.
* Keen to support others and be a cooperative team player.
* Handle all jobs with due care and attention.
* Able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given to a high standard.
* Work well under pressure and deal with high volumes of work.
* Able to meet strict targets and deadlines.
