Children's Registered Manager - Brand New HomeLocation: SuttonSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Additional Bonuses
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established provider of high-quality children's residential care, operating multiple homes across London and Surrey. Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children's home in Sutton.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding organisation that values innovation, excellence, and child-centred care. As the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in setting up and developing the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivering outstanding outcomes for young people aged 11-18.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the setup and registration of the home with Ofsted.
* Lead, develop, and inspire a dedicated team to provide high-quality care.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
* Implement and maintain therapeutic care approaches tailored to individual needs.
* Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning effectively.
* Build positive relationships with external agencies, stakeholders, and the local community.
* Drive continuous improvement to achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings.
Requirements:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting.
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation.
* Proven ability to develop and lead a successful team.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
