You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care and ensuring all work is needs led, evidence based and in line with current legislation. You will also support the development of services in line with the workstreams that are the focus for the care group, which includes, mental health, forensic, physical health, neurodevelopmental conditions and cognitive impairment. CWP hosts CANDDID, the Centre for Autism Neurodevelopmental disorders and Intellectual Disabilities, which carries out research, education and training, and all clinicians are encouraged and supported to develop research and QI skills. Main duties of the job The post holder will carry a caseload of clients with learning disabilities who have a varied level of complex needs, to deliver care that will reduce health inequalities for people including behaviours of concern and/or autism. Lead on meetings, including care planning, and training around people on the caseload to make sure they are receiving the best support for them. Depending on experience and level when coming into the team, there would be an expectation in terms of being responsible for providing clinical supervision and appraisals of nursing staff within the team.
