Role Summary: Provision of instrument and control engineering expertise and judgment in service of the assets, working closely with Site Engineers to ensure efficient handover of all issues that require discipline engineering input to resolve. Ensure pragmatic solutions are implemented for management of risk, production efficiency improvement, maintenance, defect elimination and engineering standardization in support of safe, reliable and compliant operations. What you will deliver: Performs day to day I&C Engineering to deliver immediate operations support, working closely with the Site Engineer to resolve issues. Ensures asset I&C Engineering risks are understood, controlled and continuously reduced. Participates in asset risk assessments. Design and engineering of small and medium I&C modifications to reduce risk, mange obsolescence or increase production. Monitors KPIs for I&C equipment e.g. alarm system metrics, control loop performance, advanced control utilization etc, and initiates corrective actions as necessary. Provides I&C Engineering support to technical MoCs and Engineering Queries Identifies production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support production forecast and grow IPC. Performs follow-up actions and observations from self-verification checks that are related to I&C Engineering. What you will need to be successful: Degree in Electrical, Control, Process Engineering or related discipline. Experience and technical understanding of engineering, maintenance and operation of instrument and control equipment in oil & gas processing facilities. Knowledge of governing codes, industry standards and local regulations relevant to instrument and control engineering, and proven ability in practical application of engineering standards and practices for instrument and control equipment. You will work with: Work as part of the Instrument, Control and Electrical team and be deployed into one of the North Sea Squads (e.g. Process Safety and Integrity Squad or Facilities Support Squad) Why Join our team?
