Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Commercial and Product Manager who thrives on digging into numbers and turning data into actionable insights; driving the commercial success and product development of Aspire Airport Lounges. In this role, you will own data analysis and reporting across our commercial and product initiatives, identifying both challenges and opportunities for growth. This role combines strategic and tactical responsibilities, ensuring we deliver on revenue/profitability targets, as well as supporting customer experience improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with global commercial teams, as well as helping to develop lasting product enhancements, pricing strategies, and partner relationships. Your skill for uncovering trends and presenting clear, impactful insights will be vital in supporting commercial decisions and enhancing the Aspire Lounge experience.
Additionally, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality presentations for key customers in order to showcase our value and secure new partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
* Information Ownership and Analysis: Take full ownership of commercial data-organizing, analysing, and presenting it to highlight patterns, challenges, and new revenue opportunities. You’ll build and manage detailed spreadsheets and dashboards that will serve as the foundation for strategic decision-making.
* Commercial Strategy and Revenue Growth: Work alongside the Global Team to implement strategies that drive revenue growth, optimize pricing, and attract target customer segments. Use data insights to support and refine these initiatives.
* Product Development and Enhancement: Working with the wider team, SVP and VP Commercial and Product, to bring new concepts to life by providing data-backed recommendations or data-driven insights to support implementation. Help monitor and refine the lounge experience to ensure alignment with market and customer demands.
* Yield Improvement and Optimization: Partner with teams on yield improvement initiatives by delivering the data and insights needed to make informed decisions on pricing, capacity management, and occupancy maximization.
* Project Management/Coordination: Manage the day-to-day execution of select, key projects, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met. Provide ongoing analysis to support project objectives.
* Support Regional Commercial Teams Around the Globe: Act as a data resource for regional commercial teams, supplying insights, trend analysis, and commercial rationale to aid local strategies and ensure alignment with the wider business.
* Market Analysis and Positioning: Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities. Support market research efforts by gathering data on competitors, customer preferences, and industry trends. Use these insights to inform product decisions and commercial tactics.
* Partnership Management: Build and manage strategic relationships with airports, service providers, and other partners to create mutually beneficial collaborations and drive profitability. Prepare and deliver polished presentations tailored to key customers and prospective landlords, clearly showcasing Aspire’s value and commercial advantages.
* Customer Experience Improvement: Proactively work with the Head of B2B Marketing & Insights to initiate, analyse, collate and report on key trends or feedback in order to seize commercial opportunities.
* Budget Management and Forecasting: Take an active role in tracking budgets, delivering regular reporting on financial metrics / opportunities to support senior management in evaluating progress and ROI.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure data-driven insights are incorporated into business strategies and customer-facing initiatives.
* Data Analysis: Leverage key data points to support business opportunity assessments, helping to quickly qualify or validate potential new openings. Analyse performance metrics, customer insights, and other critical data to shape product and commercial strategies.
* Reporting: Prepare regular reports on product performance, revenue growth, yield improvements, and regional insights for senior leadership.
* · Trade Conference Coordination: Research, and coordinate / attend relevant trade conferences to represent Aspire Executive lounges, stay current on industry trends, and build strategic relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong commercial acumen with a passion for driving impactful changes that enhance customer experience and business performance.
* A true data enthusiast with advanced Excel skills and experience in building reports and presentations that effectively communicates insights. Knowledge of data visualisation tools (such as Power BI) is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex data sets and translate them into commercial opportunities.
* Experience managing project timelines and collaborating across departments to drive results.
* Experience in attending and coordinating trade events is a plus, with a proactive approach to networking and relationship-building.
* Understanding of customer experience principles and a commitment to using data to enhance the customer journey.
* Excellent presentation & communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively with partners, vendors, and colleagues.
