An exciting opportunity has arisen, within ESNEFT Community Applications Team, for a permanent Community Application Analyst.
You will directly report to the Community Application Manager, supporting North East Essex Community Services Division.
You will develop and maintain the core community EPR clinical system (SystmOne), as a comprehensive clinical tool, to facilitate collation of operational clinical pathways and secondary data capture, to meet the requirements of all end users, ensuring quality, data integrity and standardisation is maintained.
You will play an active role in supporting the management of SystmOne user setup, module and unit configuration, clinical system Training / creating lesson plans and training materials, report writing, data extraction, data analysis, data quality and the management of problems.
You will work closely with Divisional Managers and users of the clinical EPR to ensure all training and development needs, in respect of the clinical system, are met.
You will work closely with the Community Application Manager, to ensure that the operation of the clinical system and interoperability within it, are maintained, to ensure they meet the functional requirements of the business.
You will need access to a car as there are expectations of travel with this post. This is a permanent position.

Main duties of the job
1. To ensure a very high level of availability of system(s) using third party liaison where required.
2. To ensure that ever-changing organisational requirements and specifications are maintained in the system configurations.
3. To ensure that developments released by the system supplier are considered and impact assessed against organisational requirements.
4. To ensure that strategy regarding electronic clinical record keeping is in line with wider developments of the Health Service.
5. To apply comprehensive understanding of how the system (s) is used in the healthcare environment across a diverse estate and in delivering related services in conjunction with other NHS integrated data sharing services.
6. To work closely with the Operational Service Clinical Leads and the BI / Performance Team to ensure that usage of community system (s) complies with data quality and information governance obligations.
7. To use expert knowledge to develop and enhance clinical tools in line with the model of care.

Person Specification
Experience
Essential
* Systems analysis, systems testing, configuration, user training and documentation, systems support. Test management. Working with suppliers.
* NHS experience
* Establishing, monitoring and ensuring adherence to strategy, policy and quality standards that impact across the whole organisation.
* Delivering complex presentations to groups of people.
* Planning, developing and implementing information systems.
* Business mapping and business processes.
Desirable
* Similar work in an NHS organisation. Large scale software roll-out implementation including Project management experience including the use of PRINCE2 and/or ITIL methodology.
* Experience of working with clinicians and clinical audit.
* Experience of interagency or partnership working.
Qualifications
Essential
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience plus further training and experience to post graduate diploma equivalent.
Desirable
* A recognised system analysis HND/Degree qualification or significant experience in IT related subject.
Knowledge
Essential
* Experience of clinical NHS datasets.
* Knowledge of the Data Protection Act.
* Understanding of technical aspects of Information Security.
* Advanced keyboard skills.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office packages.
