A vacancy has arisen within our Skyline team for a Business Account Manager covering Central London and potentially other parts of the UK. The ideal candidate will live in the Slough area. There may be a requirement for overnight stays. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary + benefits.

The Business Account Manager role:
We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record of securing new business, ideally in the high-rise market. This is a technical and specification-based sales role, so attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential; kitchen experience is also desirable.
You should be familiar with looking at Scope of Works and Employers Requirements to ensure that our tender is fully compliant with those documents. You will also have the skills to manage and grow existing Symphony accounts with key contractors in the South of England relating to the high-rise market, predominantly covering London and the surrounding areas.
The key responsibilities of our Business Account Manager will include:
* Securing new Contractors and developing long-term relationships with them to secure all future schemes.
* An understanding of platforms such as A-Site and ensuring that drawings are at Status A before kitchens are called off.
* Finalising the specification pretender and submitting all relevant information to the internal Symphony departments to arrange the design and quotations for pending schemes.
* Presenting quotations and designs to the Contractors post tender.
* Following up with contractors to secure new works and develop relationships to build further pipeline for the future.
* Organising site set up meetings prior to handing over to the Project Management Team when the sites go live.
* Working closely with the team to ensure excellent customer service and maximising market share.
* Building relationships with key customers and growing those accounts.
* Achieving turnover growth within existing and new accounts; sales experience is desirable.
In order to succeed in this Business Account Manager role, you must have:
* The desire to build a career in a customer-focused environment.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills; computer literacy is essential.
* A full UK driving licence, as travel within the area and throughout the UK will be required.
* A relevant CSCS card, which can be included as part of the training.
You will be:
* Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels to develop, sell, and maintain existing relationships with Site/Project Managers, Buyers, and Senior Managers, specifically in high-rise developments.
* Able to manage multiple projects positively prior to going live on site.
* Able to work well under pressure.
* Diligent with attention to detail to extract information from the tender packs to submit a compliant bid.
* Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines.
* Willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
