Our client, operating in the water treatment sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer to join their team in Derby. This is an exciting permanent role that involves installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting pump and water treatment temporary installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission, and handover pump & temporary water treatment setups for major construction & utilities projects within the region.
Provide customer training and remote/on-site support, including troubleshooting, and writing reports on the status of equipment.
Support the sales team to secure both short & long-term projects.
Assist in the creation of job-specific work instructions, method statements & risk assessments for efficient and safe working practices.
Undertake routine on-site maintenance and major upgrades/refurbishment of water treatment equipment in the depot.
Regular travel and overnight stays are required, with travel time accounted for (excluding the first and last 30 minutes of the day).
Check and tag all equipment, maintain service records, and ensure the availability of products and accessories.
Adhere to customer Health & Safety rules and report all incidents/accidents.
Job Requirements:
Experience in the installation of pumps and/or water treatment equipment is essential.
CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable.
Must possess a valid driving licence.
Flexibility to meet the changing needs of the region.
Above average fitting abilities and strong problem-solving skills.
Performance Indicators:
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented vehicle and workspace.
Accurate recording of work carried out, parts used, and stock control.
High quality and quantity of equipment serviced and repaired.
Successful completion and customer satisfaction of installations.
