Are you an enthusiastic and committed professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with SEND? We are currently seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated and supportive team within a specialist educational setting.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 mentoring, support and inspiration to learners, assisting with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, outreach and outdoor activities.
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and contribute to delivering engaging lessons with a strong focus on behavioural management.
* Maintain daily reports on learner progress and identify barriers to learning.
* Build positive relationships through regular interaction with parents and caregivers.
What we’re looking for:
* A passionate and dedicated professional with a strong commitment to supporting students with SEND.
* Experience working with children is essential, preferably within a SEND environment or similar setting.
* Adaptable, resilient and willing to get stuck in!
* An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
