You will need tobe able to drive andhave a consistent approach to assisting the people we support to engage in the interests they love. Furthermore, as Support Worker you will be responsible for: Daily activitiessuch as personal care;laundry; meal preparation; medication and administration Getting to know the people you will care for and help them to live the life they want to live Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the people you will care for Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you will take care of Helping the people you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims Planning and be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities Assisting the people, you will assist to manage their personal affairs making, preparing for, and attending any appointments Ensuring the people, you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality To work in accordance with SeeAbilitys values We are looking for someone who can devote to 37.5 hours per week and are willing to work on a shift rota basis, coveringmornings, evenings, and weekends. At Dorset Support Service, we support 2 ladies witha range of disabilities including visual impairment, autism and learning disabilities, our ladies are independent and enjoy going out. We spend a lot of time getting out and about and engaging with the local community.
