About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Graduate to join a dynamic planning consultancy based in Winchester. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or Junior Planner with a degree in Planning or Geography who is looking to develop their career in the planning sector. The successful candidate will gain hands on experience across a range of planning projects, supporting senior planners in delivering high-quality planning services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
* Conducting site appraisals and research on planning policies and regulations
* Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients on planning matters
* Supporting the development of planning reports and proposals
* Attending site visits and contributing to project development
Requirements:
* A degree in Town / Urban Planning, Geography, or a related discipline
* A understanding of UK planning policies and regulations
* Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
