As a member of Golding Homes’ Repairs and Maintenance (R&M) team, the Glazer/Locksmith plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents.
The Glazer/Locksmith will work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and residents to provide a responsive and effective service, adhering to Golding Homes’ values and customer-focused standards. Through their expertise, they will contribute to maintaining Golding Homes’ reputation for excellence in property care and tenant satisfaction.

We are looking for highly motivated, customer-oriented induviduals from all walks of life to bring the right skills to our team - a Glazier/Locksmith who can provide the best service and value for money to our customers.
We are looking for someone who holds completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and/or a minimum of NVQ level II or its equivalent, i.e. relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate. If multi-trade, you'll be assessed as competent in two or more further trades (in addition to your lead trade).
You'll have a minimum of 3 years’ Trade experience working in the building maintenance industry. You'll have the ability to work from verbal and written instructions, including drawings, diagrams, sketches, calculations using measuring equipment where appropriate.
You'll have knowledge of Health and Safety Standards, property repairs and effectively display trade skills. You'll hold knowledge of Noise at Work Regulations.
A full driving licence is essential.
A DBS is required for this role.
When and where you'll be doing it
You will enjoy a 40-hour working week and earn an annual salary of £32,779 dependent upon your knowledge, skills and experience. Option to join out of hours emergency Rota which would be on the repairs side of the contract which will be paid as per our out of hours rate.
Golding Homes have properties throughout Maidstone and the surrounding area. This role will allow you to travel around our properties, meaning no two weeks will be the same! What’s more, you'll become a permanent member of the Golding family, offering you real job security.
